Shana [RSW] is an experienced social service professional, dedicated to supporting individuals and families through periods of transition and challenge. Guided by strengths-based, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive approaches, she combines therapeutic coaching with practical executive function support to help clients work through complex personal and social systems with compassion and clarity.
At Now What Support Services, Shana’s role includes family support and system navigation, clinical counselling, and program development. She works closely with families navigating multi-layered situations, separation, divorce, or co-parenting challenges, offering clear guidance, compassionate support, and structured access to services.
As an advocate for systemic change, Shana is committed to advancing institutional and policy improvements that promote equity, accessibility, and dignity. She works to remove barriers so individuals and families can receive timely, culturally safe, and effective supports.
Shana draws on both her professional experience and her personal insight as a parent to deepen her understanding of resilience, family systems, and the realities of navigating services. She is dedicated to creating spaces where individuals and families feel safe, respected, and empowered to create meaningful growth in their lives.
Outside of her professional role, she enjoys spending time with her family, walking in the woods with her dog and friends, camping, cooking big family meals, practicing hot yoga, and traveling.
