Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS)

“Kids do well if they can.” – Ross Greene

Rather than focusing on kids’ challenging behaviours and modifying them with rewards and punishments, CPS helps kids and caregivers identify and solve the underlying problems that are causing those behaviours. The problem solving is collaborative, not unilateral, and proactive, not reactive. Research has shown that this model is effective not only at solving specific problems and improving behaviour, but also at enhancing skills to create more independent future problem-solvers.

We have advanced CPS training in the Ross Greene method and are ready to help you tackle your challenges in a way that protects your relationship and respects everyone involved.
