Safia Fettah [BSW, MSW] completed her Masters of Social Work and heads up our Children’s Team as the social worker for our Social Sundays, PowerUp Program, PA Days, and School Break Camps, as well as working clinically with individual clients from elementary age to young adult.

Safia brings several years of experience working as a case manager within the mental health and addictions field, working with individuals and families in vulnerable situations, assessing, planning, and advocating for clients.

She has a broad range of experience with children and youth in both professional and volunteer capacities including child protection, McMaster Children’s Hospital, and Big Brothers/Big Sisters, as well as being a long-time children’s soccer coach and mentor.
Safia is fluent in French and is pleased to offer bilingual clinical services for our francophone clients.  In her spare time, she enjoys sports (especially soccer), the great outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.
