Kendall Hacala brings a wide range of experience supporting children and teens with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to her work in PowerUp, our alternative day program for children with multi-layered needs. She is a recent graduate of McMaster University, where she earned an Honours Degree in Human Behaviour, with a focus on Early Childhood Studies.

Kendall has worked in clinical settings with children of all ages and developmental stages, supporting them in both one-on-one and group environments. Her background also includes volunteer work at SickKids Hospital through the Child Life Program and at Joseph Brant Hospital in the Hospital Elder Life Program (HELP), where she supported memory care initiatives for older adults. These diverse experiences have shaped her unique approach to therapeutic engagement, emphasizing the power of learning through play and creative activities.

With a strong foundation in early childhood development, Kendall brings a playful, compassionate, and strengths-based approach to her work. She is committed to building trusting relationships with clients and families and creating supportive, inclusive spaces where children can thrive.
