Hilary Bowerman [OCT, Hon. B.A., B.Ed.] is an Ontario Certified Teacher and Executive Function/Therapeutic Coach at NowWhat? Support Services. She began her journey with NowWhat? as the Director of Children’s Programs and now works individually and in small groups with children and teens, helping them build essential life and learning skills.
With a strong academic background in Mathematics, Hilary specializes in Executive Function coaching that supports academic growth and confidence. She integrates strategies from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), along with tools for emotional regulation and distress tolerance, to help clients navigate challenges and reconnect with their natural curiosity and motivation for learning.
As a member of the PowerUp team, Hilary provides academic support that emphasizes Executive Function development, emotional resilience, and DBT-informed coping skills. Her extensive experience working with children and youth—across roles such as camp counsellor, special needs support worker, youth mentor, and program administrator—has equipped her with a wide-ranging skillset to support neurodiverse learners and those facing emotional or academic hurdles.
