HAYDEN GUITARD
(He/him)
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Hayden [BA Psych] is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). He is currently completing a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and provides psychotherapy to adolescents and young adults under direct clinical supervision.
With over four years of experience supporting youth and young adults in various settings, Hayden focuses on building strong, collaborative therapeutic relationships, often leveraging his experience with competitive sports to support athletes who are navigating high-performance demands. He supports clients navigating challenges related to emotional regulation, overwhelm, and identity development, with a particular interest in neuroaffirming practice. He works with individuals seeking to build clarity, confidence, and effective coping strategies during periods of transition.
Hayden’s therapeutic approach is client-centered, strengths-based, and neuroaffirming, drawing on evidence-informed modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), within a humanistic framework. He prioritizes creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel understood and empowered to work toward meaningful and sustainable change.
As a developing clinician, Hayden integrates ongoing supervision and training into his practice to support ethical and competent care. He brings a warm, approachable style to his work, supporting clients as they build insight and confidence. Hayden comes from the Hamilton area himself, and outside of his professional work, he can be found playing sports, gardening, and spending time with his pets.
