GINNY FAZARI

She/Her

Case Manager

Ginny Fazari [CYW, BCYC] Ginny has over 20 years of experience in community-based children’s mental health services across Hamilton and Halton. She is a seasoned Child and Youth Care Practitioner whose role integrates clinical practice, program leadership, and systems coordination. Ginny brings a strong therapeutic lens to her work and is currently completing her Master of Social Work (MSW), further strengthening her clinical and leadership practice.

Ginny’s practice includes a particular focus on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), an area in which she has completed intensive and specialized training. She supports families to understand the brain-based impacts of prenatal substance exposure and to move beyond behaviour-focused approaches toward strategies that emphasize regulation, environmental support, and realistic expectations. This work sits alongside her broader commitment to neuro-affirming and trauma-informed care.
In addition to her FASD-focused work, Ginny specializes in supporting parents of neurodivergent children, adoptive parents, and couples in mixed-neurotype relationships, including autism, ADHD, and trauma-related experiences. Her clinical approach is relational, developmentally appropriate, and grounded in practical, day-to-day support that reflects the realities of family life.

At NowWhat, Ginny is part of the management team and contributes to both direct clinical service delivery and program oversight. She collaborates closely with families and clinicians to develop individualized care plans that reflect each family’s strengths, values, and lived context. Ginny is especially passionate about supporting parents in ways that reduce blame and burnout while building understanding, capacity, and connection.

Ginny’s depth of experience, integrated clinical and leadership role, and thoughtful approach make her a trusted professional in the field of children’s mental health, dedicated to supporting families with compassion, clarity, and care.
