Celia Petruniak [BRLS, CTRS], is a dedicated Therapeutic Coach with experience and passion for helping others find meaning and growth through leisure activities. She specialized in Therapeutic Recreation at Brock University. Celia has worked with diverse populations, including individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), older adults in long-term care, and children in outdoor education settings.

Celia worked in specialized mental health with a focus on concurrent mood disorders. She utilizes evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) in her therapeutic interventions. 

Celia works with youth and teens and NowWhat, helping clients leverage their passions and interests to reconnect with themselves, discover new interests, set personal goals, learn new social-emotional skills and strategies, and realize their strengths and abilities. Her enthusiasm for using play and recreation as therapeutic tools reflects her commitment to improving the well-being of others so they can find richness, meaning and success in their own context.

Outside of work, Celia loves to play soccer, make crafts, camp with friends, indulge in reality television, and spend time with pets.
