BRYANNA MACKAY

She/Her

Communicative Disorders Assistant

Bryanna is a Communicative Disorders Assistant with over seven years of experience supporting individuals with a wide range of communication and language needs. She works from a neurodiversity-affirming, client-centered approach, helping people build meaningful communication skills that support connection, self-expression, and emotional well-being. At NowWhat, Bryanna works as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant as well as supporting our intensive therapeutic day program.

With a strong foundation in communication and language development, Bryanna brings a unique blend of professional expertise and lived experience to her NowWhat—particularly in supporting neurodivergent individuals. As a proud member of the neurodivergent community herself, Bryanna creates a safe, inclusive space where clients are encouraged to show up as their authentic selves—without pressure, judgment, or expectation. Whether she’s working on social communication, language development, or emotional expression, her goal is always to support each person in a way that feels empowering and aligned with their needs.

Outside of her professional life, Bryanna is a self-described “Jack of all trades.” She’s the goalie for a local soccer team, plays piano and sings, and enjoys creative hobbies like drawing, crafting, and collecting Pokémon cards and Hot Wheels. At home, she shares life’s cozy moments with her two beloved tabby cats, Bunny and Pluto.
