Farm Programs for Kids

Our popular farm-based sessions for kids aged 4-12 teach mindfulness, emotional regulation and social fluency through observing and interacting with a variety of small animals in a peaceful farmyard setting, located at a beautiful private farm 20 mins from our clinic on the outskirts of Brantford.

Farm-based courses run for 6 weeks of 75 minute sessions, and run at various times through the week.  The cost is $600 for the six week course and can be covered by most private benefit plans, OAP and SSAH funds.  Groups are sorted by age/stage.  Current groups are registering for:

  • Saturdays, September 18th – October 23rd 2021 (1pm, 2.30pm & 4pm groups)
  • Saturdays, October 30th – December 4th 2021 (1pm, 2.30pm & 4pm groups)

See full current program details here or Email us to Register for the next program!

Occasionally we run sibling-specific groups to work on managing conflict and communication. Feel free to inquire about individual appointments or sessions for older children or adults (or see FEEL info below for teens +). Group participants must be able to follow simple animal and barn safety rules.  Please give us a call to talk to one of our Case Managers to see if this program is a good fit for your child!

Please note – this is a therapeutic program and there is no riding involved.
